Mmabatho Mongae

Mmabatho Mongae is a PhD candidate; research fellow at the Centre for Africa-China Studies; professional moderator and lecturer. She has experience as a communicator and has authored articles on democracy, elections, migration and 4IR. Mmabatho is an academic and a lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand at the Department of the International Relations. She is a recipient of the Walter and Albertina Sisulu Prize and the Wits Post Merit Award to pursue her PhD research focusing on governance quality and popular support for democracy in Africa. She holds an MA in International Relations.
